On 6th April 2022, Ming Fai Industrial (Cambodia) Company Limited (“Ming Fai”) donated useful materials to the children of an orphan care and training organization in Kampong Speu Province to tackle their living problems. On the day of event, Mark, the General Manager and Anya, the Manager of Administration Department/Personnel Department led the staff of Ming Fai to participate in this activity.
Orphanage were now taking care of totally 73 orphans. Since the orphanage had no constant income, the daily operation depended on the donations from generous people. During the event, the colleagues of Ming Fai kindly interacted with the children and gave away the necessities to them. The children all lined up neatly and used their beautiful smile to show the love for their gifts.
After gaining an understanding of the situation, Ming Fai has contacted with the person in charge for donating some useful materials to the children of orphanage. The donated materials of Ming Fai included rice, instant noodles, cooking oils, and hand sanitizers. These daily necessities can help children to improve their daily lives.
Apart from donating daily necessities to the kids, Ming Fai also gave away pencils, notebooks and ball pens to them. These school supplies could allow the children to study better. We should not only take care of their daily life, but also provide a better learning environment for them to broaden their world in the future.
The responsible person of orphanage expressed his gratitude to Ming Fai for the donation. As he was also an orphan and grew up with the support of generous people, he devoted himself to setting up an orphanage after achieved financial independence. He used his own experience to vividly express how people charity activities could positively affect the growth of the children, which made their donation more meaningful.
